The pub itself is nice and reasonably well kept, it has two pool tables, and was refurbished not so long ago

As for food, the choice is limited and in general of average quality.
The majority is pre-made elsewhere, heated up on site, and comes with a serving of chips and coleslaw.
This does however mean that the food gets to your table quicker!

Volume for money is good (But not to be confused with value)

The best feature of the pub is the service, its always been good and the staff have always been friendly and helpful

The toilets are the worst feature of the pub... Some of the worst I've been in any place that serves food, including abroad.
The men's often stinks of urine
And I've seen staff close to vomiting at the thought of having to clean the ladies.

In summary; Just as a pub its great. The food is average but you are getting what you pay for, its an ideal place to bring a hungry family but if your thinking of a date or impressing someone go elsewhere!

Fantastic value for money. Great food, generous portions, divine desserts and the service was second to none. Thoroughly recommend for a family dinner/lunch out.
