I attended Dorma Saturday 15th July 2013 and wow its the worst night club I have ever visited in Bristol.
I thought I would give it a go even though its a long trek from all the main bars in Bristol.
My friends and I arrived about 11pm and we were told on the door by a bouncer that we could go in VIP at a cost of £10 and we would get a drink of our choice. I thought this was quite alot of entry to a club anyway but thought I would give it ago. We went to the bar to reclaim our free drink and the bar staff said that she didnt have a clue what we were on about, she was VERY rude and arrogant and wasnt helpful in the slightest. She walked off and didnt come back so I went to talk to another bar memember with blonde hair - Again she wasnt very helpful. Eventually we were told to go in the VIP area and we were told we had to take vodka off another parties tables if we wanted a drink. Which to be honest felt a bit rude.
We were all unhappy so decided to leave. I asked the girl on the door if we could have a partial refund due to problems we had and she just scowled and said no. I then asked for the manager who wasnt again helpful. He basically said it is what it is and didnt really seem to care that we have been promised drinks and had to harrass staff members to get a free drink which we then were told to take off another parties table and not to mention how quiet it was!
Safe to say we wont be going back to Dorma anytime soon.
If you want to go to a chavy club thats quiet and has rude staff then I think this club is for you.
