The new decor is fantastic and gives the pub a much brighter feel. The toilets are much cleaner. Well done to the management team for sorting this out. As customers, please let us keep the pub to this high standard.

I am upgrading this pub to four stars. I haven't been in this pub that much over the last 3 weeks however, when I have it has been busy with really nice people especially Debs karaoke on a Thursday night.

Good, friendly bar staff and management. The locals who frequent this pub are always friendly and approachable. Music entertainment Thursday to Sunday inclusive - Debbie's Karaoke on a Thursday and Sunday, Friday and Saturday there are various artists that play such as Paul Foster, Phil Charles, Ravel, Danny, Funkee Monkees, etc.
Although, I do have one gripe and that is the state of the toilets, however since the latest management team took over there have been some improvements here, i.e. the three individual toilet basins in the gents have been replaced with a single full length metal urinal, this helps to prevent accidents/spillages on the floor. There is still some work required here but this is largely down to the public having more respect for the establishment (Please can everyone show a little more respect and we can help improve this pub).
