We went the Golden Lion Fishponds to a music gig on Saturday night.
I found the bar staff very efficient, attractive and friendly.
The service was faultless and the prices were very reasonable.
This is a proper pub, with no fancy modern plastic.
If you want a pub where they have good music, then do not miss this one out.
All evening we found the whole experience was like the old days.
