A proper "locals pub". Very well kept Draught Bass as well as Thatchers & Taunton Rough Cider. No more Blackthorn, now it's Thatcher's Dry instead! Current guest beers are Courage Directors or Old Speckled Hen.
Skittle alley & function room upstairs. Occasional live music on a Sunday afternoon. One of the few pubs in the area with Sky Sports TV.
This pub has what is probably the best beer garden in the Brislington area. There are Darts & Skittle teams as well as Poker on Friday evenings.

I've been to see a few of the bands here now and they've been great and really got the pub buzzing. Is a great pub anyway but even better when the bands come in. Well worth the trip.
