I had a takeaway from here as it was cheaper than Bombay Dreams which is a few doors down. However they are clearly cheaper for a reason - their food isn't as good. I have now become a regular at Bombay Dreams as I find their curries so much tastier.

Quite a disappointing takeaway from here actually. Lots of sauce not much meat.

I ordered a Chicken Madras takeaway and peshwari nan, the chicken madras when I opened the plastic container I was greated with 1cm of sauce and 1 cm of pure fat which I was frankly astounded after the price of £7.80 for the pleasure. I left the meal half way through as my astonishment creeped up on me once more so half ended in land fill and the other half we shall see what happens.

Please please dont bother with Bristol Raj as there are some truely excellent places in Clifton Village the Brunel Raj ( brilliant and always packed never a bad sign) and Spice Brass very busy all week and excellent service and superb food and good on price as well, to name but two. If I could give them nil stars I would but alas this site does not allow nil points to be given. I will never be eating in Bristol Raj againin Total disgust. S. Sinclair
