I have to say.......

......My partner and I were very disappointed when we visited your establishment on Saturday 11/07/09. We eat/drink in THE NOOK every time we are in Weston (usually about twice a year).

However on this occasion as we entered the restaurant a member of staff, on her way out showed us to a table for 2.

We sat and waited, and waited, and waited........ meanwhile other customers were entering, being served and still no-one came to take our order.

We wanted to order a meal and would have appreciated having to wait, had the restaurant been busy.

There were at least 5 staff at the bar, one on mobile phone, a couple of others chatting, a young male waiter serving food.

Meanwhile the waitress who originally showed us to a table returned and we heard her ask this waiter if we had been attended to.......still non response.

By this time my patience was shot and we left. We had just arrived in Weston, plonked our bags in our hotel room and were looking 4ward to a nice meal in the NOOK (as we have 4 the last 8 years or so).

WE spend quite a lot of money in there and have had good service in the past, even in Winter.

Perhaps it's now under new management or just lacks professionalism. You may not care too much but others may have been treated the same on that day and it's custom lost, especially in these times.

sincerely
