Excellent pie shop... one of the best!
This place started off so well, great pies, the finest mash known to man kind and for someone who hates mushy peas, even nice mushy peas!
So what went wrong? I love a success story, especially if it's born in Bristol, but I can't help but think that the business has grown too fast, and quality has been lost along the way.
I popped in last week to pick up some pies for dinner, the lady who served me was surly at best, and when I did get the pies home and heated them up for the family, we were all truly disappointed with them.
The pastry was greasy, the filling tasted off, and I had to end up cooking after all as we were all starving, so was thoroughly annoyed!
I hope they pull their socks up, would be a shame for this place to end up on the Bristol rubbish heap.
