By far the best Indian restaurant I've been to in Bristol. The staff were attentive, the atmosphere was good and the food was stunning - freshly made and bursting with flavours, not the usual oily slop on a plate. They do a curry with Naga Jolokia chillies which are some of the world's hottest and it's excellent - really fiery but still very tasty.
We've been there twice and the food and service was uniformly excellent. Surprisingly the prices are very good too.
The only downside is they're popular and it can take a while for your food to arrive if they're busy. Still, this is a small price to pay for such quality. It's not exactly local to me but I wouldn't go anywhere else!
