Take Five Cafe

I have been to Take Five Cafe quite a few times with friends and family. It is very well known locally, and independently owned by an Asian guy and Norwegian guy, with a very Scandinavian style calm interior decor, and tasty reasonably priced home cooked Asian food. Their day to day meals only cost a fiver but are very tasty in good portions. Soft Indian music streams in the background which I find very soothing. They stack all kind of books on the tables for customers to read which is very unique, apart from creative painting by local artists on the walls. The place also doubles up as a party venue which is extremely popular for student, local dj, and birthday parties as it has an underground cellar/basement with old flagstones. Their drinks are reasonably priced too at around £3 for a bottle of lager. We tend to go there for everything from English breakfasts, a coffee latte chillout, chicken tikka, buffet dinners, to late night parties. They run it with a very friendly well knitted team of polite friendly staff who are always there for a chat. This is a very highly recommended venue with an excellent reputation from what I have gathered over the years. I give it eleven out of ten from my own experience.
