The Folly User reviews

I used to use the Folly quite a bit mainly for the excellent carvery but on Sunday I had probably the worst carvery there that I've ever experienced anywhere! The turkey was as tough as an old boot - perhaps they're saving the best one for Xmas - the roast potatoes were unrecognizable and I can't comment on their taste as I couldn't even break into them, what's going on? I was with my 90 year old father in law who was having his very first - and last - carvery experience. Very poor!
Love this place. Staff friendly and the food and sevice is great!
Disgusting pub, toilets are poorly cleaned, food comes out without cutlery, seen members of staff while cleaning tables swipe the food, such as meat that has come off a customers plate onto the floor!......wouldn't recommend to anyone!
My wife and I and friends had a brilliant meal there on Friday 18th March but the thing that spoilt for me was the state of the gents toilets.
They were in the same condition as when we went there just before Christmas I didn't say anything then because I thought something would be done about them.
Having a greek chef is an exerlent idea, i love the greek twist on the dishes they serve. Obviously fo rthe less adventurous you can just have normal pub food!
