This is such a lovely pub but unfortunately the food can be poor in quality. They really shouldn't microwave the apple pie it was really awful. The carvery isn't too bad but could be improved upon as the yorkshire puddings are too large and do not taste good and veg is either overcooked or undercooked. I've tried at least three different desserts and none of them were very good. I would say considering the pub itself is so nice the food is poor and overpriced for the quality. Staff are polite and friendly but please, please try and improve your food!
