food well presented, children area very good. pub overall very clean, only downside was i had to wait about ten minutes to be served a drink, during the time, the barman walked passed me and so did various kitchem staff. also waited a hour for plates to be cleared from my table in the end cleared myself, whilst two members of staff stood talking. this is a pub with a lot of potential, but needs someone slightly more mature to take the lead and organise the young staff.

The bung is now under new management and it has to be said that they are great people and the pub has been given a new lease of life - Good Ale, Great Food and the Best Carvery in the Valley bar none - I would highly recommend a visit these days!!

as said before under new management with ambitious plans to make it a locals and family pub, with plenty to do indoors and out doors.
beer well kept at reasonable prices, food and range of menu improving weekly, good value specials.
never seen a proper skin head in the place

A dump with no atmosphere, no local character and aggressive skin head clientele.

Well it's now under new management and is a Family pub with a Carvery served every Sunday. Good Ales and Fine Wines & a Specials board for food daily. I'm sure if you revisited the pub solomongrundy you would revise your opinion :)

Get with the times Solomon - it's under new management, the beer is excellently kept and the food is great value for money. Watch out for the landlords rubbish jokes though ;-)
