The hatchet is a cool little place!
It has a slightly alternative feel but welcomes anyone!
it has a nice big, very popular beer garden and on nights when the academy is hosting gigs there is a chance you could be drinking next to your heroes!!
My experience of the hatchet is skewed slightly as my friends band play there occasionally so i really like it there!
the upstairs gig room is awesome, really small and intimate but flippy wicked when a good metal band is playing!!
overall a great little place!

club nights are always great but the rest of the time can be a little dull!
