Avoid avoid avoid, poor tasting food and poor customer service. Ordered a chicken chow mein and a sweet and sour chicken balls with egg friend rice. Thought we would try somewhere new what a big mistake. Got home to find my chicken chow mein consisted of big chunks of chicken on a bed of veg which consisted of big chunks of carrots, peas and mushrooms on a bed of noodles and some bean sprouts. The chicken tasted like it had been poorly defrosted (when you defrost meat fast it becomes chewy and tastes horrible) plus my partners sweet and sour didn't even taste like sweet and sour, it remains undescribable apart from using the word vile! And the egg fried rice tasted chewy and stodgy! When we decided to call them to let them know about our dinner in a descreet fashion we get told "what do you want me to do, that's just your taste, well we are very popular and you are taking up a business line!" So I would rather go hungry then order from there ever again

This restaurant has now been replaced with a takeaway, we went their last night, the girl behind counter had poor English, very hard to ask questions, our takeaway food was cold, and bland, the special curry at £5.20 arrived in small dish, enough for a child, but not a adult, the chow mein was cold and lacked any taste, can honestly say worse takeaway had in years

We have been using this restaurant for a couple of years now, it isn't local to us, but worth the 16mile travel. We take the children if we need to and the staff are always very accommodating and friendly. They are helpful in suggesting different things to try on the buffet menu, if we don't like it happy to change it, although we have always liked suggestions. I honestly cannot fault them, obviously personal taste, but I would highly reccomend them x

This is a really poor restaurant, food is always served cold the resturant is dirty and the staff / owners don't believe in customer service. You only have to look at the state of the chip and pin machine to think what the kitchens look like... My advice would be to stay well clear.

My wife and I went to Golden Dragon the other day as we wanted to try the buffet menu. But walked out after 2-3 minutes of sitting in that filthy restaurant. The menu was filthy, the wall still by the table was filthy, and the candle holder on the table. Filthy! Absolutely discusting for a restaurant! Dread to think what state the kitchen is in. I don't want food poisoning. Avoid!

Went qs a party of 4 tonight and had a very disappointing evening. We wanted to order a bottle of sauvignon blanc at about £12.99 a bottle - they did not have any so had to order at £15.99 - don't think you can buy a bottle from £8.50 as stated on this site.

The lager was warm, service very slow - we went for the buffet menu and was told by the chinese waitress that we could have a bowl of rice and a bowl of noodles when enquiring about the buffet menu - when we came to order she said she had made a mistake and we could only have one or the other After complaining she did bring the two.

She then brought the wrong meals to us with no apology. Then when we ordered coffee for 3 of us she took my teaspoon off my saucer and laid it on the paper tablecloth. When I picked it up and my friend asked her for 2 more teaspoons we were told they had run out and this was the only teaspoon in the whole restaurant.

No apology from this chinese girl at all and when I said we had not had a good evening she said she hadn't had a good evening serving us either!!

Won't be going back ever.

Excellent service and lovely staff. Extremely good value for money with total bill coming to around £30 for two of us! Amazing! Will definitely be going back soon!
