My boyfriend and myself were Gary and Bernadette's first official customers, even though we walked in when they weren't quite officially open, they were amazingly friendly and pleased to have a good chat with us. Looking forward to going back in this weekend to see how they are getting on!!! Really recommend this little gem.

Just been in The Grapes for the first time in over two years. Has completely changed! Spotlessly clean and a credit to Clifton again!

Long may it last!

Yes, a nice pub - but a shame about the service. The barmaid did her best, but the scruffy guy behind the bar couldn't be bothered with serving customers. He had that self-important look of an owner who thinks paying punters queuing for drinks are a nuisance. I was in eyeline (queuing) when he bent over to give us all a look at his red underpants. Do us a favour and pull up your trousers....

Great music, great live bands, cool original artwork and the best Sunday lunch in the village.

Fantastic Sunday lunch - you must try the overnight slow-roast pork! Nice atmosphere, good service, sunday papers and lovely puds - what more could you want!?

The Irish music on Mondays is fantastic and seems to make everyone really jolly.
