Went to Hermanos last night after a long absence from Bristol and so pleased to say its still brillant! All the old staff were still there (i think they enjoy working there!) the cocktails were still amazing, the dj was not only gorgeous but fab! And the crowd still 'spot on' its good to be back, nice work guys! X

A totally unexpected gem – came for munchies at lunchtime and had decent food, friendly service and a really warm vibe – good prices too. So many bars are up themselves but not this place. Refreshingly natural. Oh, and wifi that actually worked.

This bar is great.

A real gem in the sea of faceless chain bars in the area.

The drinks are always spot on, staff really friendly and music at the weekends brill!!

People want to get in, I witnessed a group of men & women who clearly had been turned away last Saturday night as they were very drunk and abusive, one women got right up in the doorman's face and demanded to see proof he could work in the country because he did not look British.........I mean honestly...Broken Britain or what??

I visited this bar on Saturday the 6th February 2010 and when myself and my group of friends (men and women) arrived we were immediately confronted by the bouncers, one of which was very rude and abrupt with us. Eventually we were let in because we knew some people who were already inside. What a nice place! I won't be going back.

Can't comment on the inside of the bar or the music or even the atmosphere but what I can say is the bouncer that works on a Saturday night likes to assault woman.

I witnessed a horrific episode on saturday 30th January - the bouncer assaulted a girls boyfriend and when she shouted at him he turned and hit her ....the girl called the police and seemed really upset. Once i saw the blood on the blokes face i decided to leave.

What a disgrace!

I've lived in Bristol 5 years and never seen a bouncer behave like that.

love this place!

brilliant dj's on a friday and saturday, great cocktails made well by friendly staff...

...much more satisfying night out in this great independently-run bar than in other big brand places on the triangle!
